Driving 12 million km on power from our solar panels

Every year we generate more than 2,350,000 kWh of electricity with the more than 8,000 solar panels on our greenhouses. That is enough to drive almost 12 million km with an electric car! Since 2015, we have already generated 12.3 million kWh of electricity. With this, we meet more than 50% of our own power needs for all business processes; from our computers, potting machines and robots to the lighting above the plants. The amount of electricity that we generate annually can also be compared to the average consumption of almost 800 families!
